Electrodes

In constructing general services electrodes, platinum is the only material that offers sufficiently high electrical conductivity, mechanical strength, and resistance to electrolyte and chemical attack. 

 

PM GROUP designs electrodes with a round stem that is flattened at the point of the gauze attachment. Additionally, the gauze is welded to the frame to prevent sagging. Large fillets are also provided to all joints in the frame structure for support.

 

PM GROUP designs its electrodes for long service life, and we can modify them to accommodate any special application. Identification numbers can be added if required.

Disks

PM GROUP manufactures Disks in Platinum (Pt), Silver (Ag), Gold (Au), Palladium and their alloys (Any Percentage), in Rhodium (Rh) and Iridium (Ir), Disks in alloy with Platinum (Pt), using maximum 10% of Iridium (Ir), and with Rhodium (Rh) using maximum 30%. For other materials (Alloys) required, we’ll carry out its development.

Diameter: From 14 cm to a minimum of 7.2 cm.


Thickness: The maximum thickness of the Disks that we manufacture is 1.5 mm and 0.20 mm minimum.


The minimum quantity of disk material that we melt for is 300 gm and the maximum is 7k.

Foils

PM GROUP foils come in Platinum (Pt), Silver (Ag), Gold (Au), Palladium (Pd) and their alloys (Any percentage), in Rhodium (Rh) and Iridium (Ir), wires in alloy with Platinum (Pt), using maximum 10% of Iridum (Ir), and with Rhodium (Rh) using maximum 30%. For other materials. (Alloys), is necessary to carry out the development. Special alloys using base metals (Zinc(Zn), Cooper (Cu), Tin (Sn) Nickel (Ni)) can’t exceed the 10% off base metals. 

 

PM GROUP manufactures foils with a maximum width of 14 cm and 1 cm minimum.


Thickness: The maximum thickness of the Foils that we manufacture is 10 mm and 0.20 mm minimum.


The minimum quantity of foils material that we melt for is 300 gm and the maximum is 7k.
