The thermocouple elements illustrated on this page are used in the thermocouple assembly, these elements are also sold or repaired separately for later assembly, these parts come in an insulating ceramic bar. type r, s and bare (Bare and ceramic stranded thermocouple cable) are made with a TIG (Tungsten Insertion Gas) welding system.
